City Lowlights is a contemporary urban abstraction by James Lucas. Fragmented building-like forms, compressed perspective and layered colour suggest a city environment without describing a single literal view, allowing the architecture to shift between recognisable structure and abstraction.

Lucas is represented here by contemporary abstract and urban compositions. These works use fragmented architectural forms, layered colour and simplified city imagery rather than traditional descriptive realism.

All prints are made using archival art stocks and UV pigment inks to give up to 200 years life. 

Fine art papers are acid free archival, gallery quality papers.

The framed print options are double mounted in a solid wood frame. the overall dimensions of the framed and mounted prints are approximately 6 inches larger than the print area eg. the 24x24 inch framed print measures approximately 30x30 inches overall.

Framed prints come with U.V. stabilised fine art acrylic front panels and are ready to hang.
