A face assembled from layered forms

Surreal Abstract Self Portrait sets the head against a dense blue field, with pale vertical and curved elements running through the features. Smaller mechanical-looking parts cluster below. The profile remains partly recognisable, but its surface and surrounding space appear joined by the same interlocking lines and shaded divisions.

Dark bodies within crossing blue planes

Surreal Abstract Figures gathers elongated shapes near the centre of a dense arrangement of curves, bars and angled colour. Small pale and warm accents distinguish parts of the forms. The surrounding geometry repeatedly crosses the bodies, preventing a simple separation between a figure and an empty background.

A patterned figure within architectural blocks

Surreal Abstract places the large head and striped limbs among brick-like walls and bright yellow and green planes. Smaller upright forms establish a different scale at the edges. The recognisable building fragments give the imagined body a setting while leaving the relationship between its parts deliberately unfamiliar.
