Matching a frame size to your print
1. Select the aperture size that matches your chosen print size
2. Select from Frame and Mount Selection:
the frame with no mount option will give an overall framed artwork size of around 45mm larger than your chosen print or aperture size.
the frame with white mount option will give an overall framed artwork size of 90mm to 190mm larger than your chosen print or aperture size. We use a one-inch wide mount for small frames increasing in width to 3 inches for larger frames of 80x100cm print size.

White is our standard colour for mountboards - please contact us if you would like a different colour or double mount

8x10 inch image = recommended mount board width 1 inch

SIZING
Frame size quoted is the aperture area.
Mounts and frames add considerably to the final dimensions.
For example, the 8x10 inch print with white mount and white frame will measure approximately 10x14 inches overall and the 24x30 inch print with white mount and white frame will measure approximately 32x38 inches overall.

All of our frames are fitted with a backing board and have either integral hanging points or hanging cords..
Our mounts are cut from sustainable sourced acid free board. The mount aperture is typically 1/4 inch (6mm) smaller than the stated size in both directions to allow the safe mounting of prints.
Glazing
Frames are fitted with high clarity acrylic which has greater visual clarity than glass.
