Vessels within a dark layered arrangement

A Still Life with a Carafe and Glasses gathers the transparent forms low in the image beneath taller dark planes and pale rounded objects. Narrow highlights distinguish glass edges. The subdued colour keeps attention on the overlapping shapes and changes of tone rather than on a brightly separated tabletop display.

Flowers above a tall decorated vase

Nature morte places red blooms and green leaves against a warm ochre setting. Smaller cups and vessels crowd the lower foreground. Dark outlines and sloping background divisions link the different objects while preserving the flower arrangement as the scene’s clearest upright form.

A seated figure among boldly outlined objects

Little Schoolgirl sets the child behind a dark table, with coloured books and a vase of flowers nearby. A large plant rises at the left. Blue clothing and repeated curved marks make figure and room part of one active arrangement rather than isolating the sitter against a plain wall.
