Louis Marie de Schryver (1862-1942) was a French painter celebrated for his vivid scenes of Parisian life during the Belle Époque. Known for capturing the elegance of Paris's flower markets, de Schryver depicted bustling streets with women dressed in fashionable attire amid abundant blooms, carriages, and picturesque cityscapes. His meticulous attention to detail, vibrant colors, and light-filled compositions evoke a romantic vision of Paris in the late 19th century. Rolled canvas options have an additional white border of approximately 2.5 inches (7cm) on all 4 sides to aid stretching.
Ready to hang canvas panels are stretched on 1.5 inch deep solid pine frames from sustainable forestry sources. The image is mirrored on all 4 sides to give an aesthetically pleasing finish.
