A really fantastic little oil painting in true Italian style signed in red by Italian artist Giacomo Moretti in the bottom right corner. Confident, loose brush strokes perfectly set the scene. It is fresh and spontaneous and so most likely painted en plein air. A wonderful depiction of the ancient architecture found in so many Italian towns.

The framed painting measures 9.25" (23.5cm) tall x 11.75" (305cm) wide overall and the gold wood frame with linen liner is approx. 1.5 inches wide.
