Initialled in the bottom left corner JP and annotated verso with Joseph Pr. A professionally painted Victorian country scene featuring a famous historical monument.
The framed painting measures 16.5" (42cm) tall x 23.5" (59.5cm) wide overall and the rustic decorative antique gold frame is approx. 1.5 inches wide. In good antique condition (late 19th century) with a few minor points of paint loss on the canvas which can only really be observed on close inspection.
