An original 1950's oil painting in a rustic wooden gilt frame. The canvas has a small historical repair on the reverse which is only noticable on very close inspection of the painting. (a very slightly indentation running horizontally)
The framed painting measures 17.25" (44cm) tall x 21.5 (55cm) wide overall and the gold decorative wooden frame is prox. 3 inches wide.
Wonderful, pastel oil painting with something of a dream like appearance. The hazy sky, the pale aqua river and the muted grey greens and golds of the foliage all frame the pretty red brick bridge with its pleasing arches which are echoed by the shapes of the trees.
