1970's framed oil painting on board signed by english Landscape artist Derek Walsom. An impressive, very fine painting of the front facade of Ranksborough Hall, Rutland built by Maj. General J.F. Brocklehurst, equerry to Queen Victoria. The artist has made excellent use of light, shadow and faded misty hues in the distance to give real depth to this English country house painting.
