A professionally painted oil on board steam locomotive standing by the platform at Highbridge Station in Somerset. The locomotive is GWR 3210, a 4.4.0 Earl Class built in 1937 from recycled Duke Class engines and Bulldog Frames and scrapped after only 20 years service. A very nicely detailed work which would make a superbly thoughtful gift for a railroad enthusiast. Muted colours in a rustic frame with a few minor knocks which have added to the vintage charm of this painting.

1950's framed painting measures 9.75" (24.5cm) tall x 11.75 (30cm) wide overall and the rustic gold painted vintage wooden frame is approx. 1.25 inches wide.
