Sorting the Mail was commissioned by the Works Progress Administration and was located at Ariel Rios Federal Building, Washington, D.C.
These fine art giclee prints are available in a range of sizes with choice of framing:
- rolled canvas with extra white border (you can then have this stretched and framed locally)
- gallery wrapped canvas panels ready to hang - no frame needed as the image is mirror printed on all 4 edges
- stretched canvas panels expertly framed in ornate silver or gold solid wood frames
All frames are made from responsibly sourced wood and are made in our Nottinghamshire workshop.
We use the highest quality heavyweight, seedless cotton rich canvas and the latest wide format giclee printers with a print resolution of 1200dpi to make every nuance, shadow and detail (including age related patina, like craquelure) as fine and detailed as the original.
SIZING
Sizes refer to the canvas image area.
- Gold and Silver Frames are approximately 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep.
- The unframed canvas panels are approximately 1.5 inches deep and the image is mirrored on all 4 sides.
- Rolled canvas has an additional 2-3 inch white border on all sides.
All prints are made using archival art stocks and UV pigment inks to give up to 200 years life.

All orders for unframed fine art prints and original paintings are dispatched within 2 working days of receipt of payment.
Orders for custom framed prints are dispatched within 4 working days.
All orders are fully tracked from dispatch to delivery at your home or business.

Size and Printed Materials
Fine art papers are printed without any additional white border Please let us know at the time of ordering if you would like a small additional white border.
Rolled canvas options have an additional white border of approximately 2.5 inches (7cm) on all 4 sides to aid stretching.
Ready to hang canvas panels are stretched on 1.5 inch deep solid pine frames from sustainable forestry sources. The image is mirrored on all 4 sides to give an aesthetically pleasing finish.
Gift Wrap Option
Why not have us gift wrap your order and attach a personalised message to the recipient. Available for all orders. Each order is hand wrapped in high quality gift wrap with meatllic ribbon and bow. Your personalised message is printed on a card which is included with your order.

Bought this print to replace a faded framed copy. It arrived sooner than expected and very well wrapped. The paper was excellent quality. It’s back on the wall looking brighter and better than ever.
I was looking for something different to adorn my office walls following a recent refurbishment and these fitted the bill perfectly. I work for the company they were originally designed for, so really like the heritage and retro feel they bring. Paired with some black IKEA Ribba frames they look really striking. A little pricey, but worth the investment I feel.
I purchased this as a remembrance to my grandmother Mamoo, who was born in 1895. She had a print hanging in her living room. As a child I just loved it. I had it for years then passed it a long to her great granddaughter but I wanted a small print. It is just beautiful and I love it!
