Red above dark and pale bands

My Sky Is Red places a broad warm area over contrasting bands of pale, blue and dark colour. Smaller divisions interrupt the larger shapes, keeping the surface from becoming a simple set of stripes. The title offers one way into the composition without requiring a literal landscape reading.

One colour explored through many shapes
