Potted flowers and garden growth

Flowering Azaleas gathers pots of pink and red flowers beside a window, where the light catches both leaves and fallen petals. Other works include sunflowers, roses and garden borders. This variety moves from the contained scale of a pot or bouquet to flowers growing within a larger outdoor setting.

Water running through woodland

Forest River with Bridge follows a shaded stream towards a small crossing, with reflections breaking across the water. Trees and banks enclose the view, making a contrast with the brighter floral paintings. The wider landscape selection includes Alpine meadows, villages and other wooded places.

Travel views and quieter coasts

Ventnor on the Isle of Wight in Fog softens the shore, boats and nearby buildings beneath a pale atmosphere. Other travel subjects include Corfu, Capri and Brittany. Explore seascape prints for related coastal scenes, or garden paintings for cultivated settings.

Related artists and collections

Compare the landscape paintings of Tina Blau and the changing forms and colour of Frances Hodgkins. Their collections offer different treatments of outdoor subjects, while flower prints and landscape art allow the same subjects to be followed across artists.
