Bicycles and figures before a pale wall

The Mount sets the large wheels clearly against the street, with seated observers and a carriage farther back. Blue doors interrupt the long façade. Small differences in posture make the cycling activity readable, while the plain wall keeps the mechanical outlines and the figures from being lost within a crowded background.

A low line of surf beneath pale sky

Marine spreads turquoise water and small white crests across the middle of a broad open view. Wet sand creates a quieter foreground band. With no large near figure or boat, attention rests on the repeated wave edges and the gentle changes between sky, sea and shore.
