In the Boudoir turns the sitter towards a dressing table and mirror, with a warm lamp lighting the hands and nearby objects. Pale drapery falls around the chair. The surrounding green-blue room keeps the smaller warm lights especially prominent.

The figure against a warmer interior

A Lady in the Boudoir places the sitter beside a lamp and patterned furnishings, with fabric gathered across the lower body. The downward gaze connects the figure to the nearby tabletop. The dark room supplies a close enclosure around the lighter surfaces.

A reclining study among flowers

Nu Allongé extends the figure across pale bedding with roses gathered near the foreground. Curtains and a small vessel describe the room behind. The horizontal arrangement gives fabric and flowers more space than in the upright seated compositions.
