"This is an original oil painting by me. I never paint the same thing twice so it is completely unique. I have previously sold a lot of my work from my own exhibitions in France.
I favour an impressionist style with soft natural colours. I like to create a fresh, spontaneous and atmospheric look to my paintings.
In this picture I wanted to capture the beautiful clear light you find by the coast in summer and the special magic and joy of a small child paddling in the sea."
