Beach Seascape Vintage Oil Painting Framed Seashore Girls on the Beach
An original 1960's oil paint and oil pastel painting of two girls playing on a Beach.
The framed painting measures 18" (46cm) tall x 22 (56cm) wide overall and the original gold decorative frame is approx. 2 1/2 inches wide and has some minor historic damage on one corner.
A charming painting of two girls sitting on the beach by a calm sea. A beautifully, loose and spontaneous style which appears to have been painted 'en plein air'. Billowing clouds float above the misty hills as the white foam of the sea laps softly against the sand. I don't know the location but it looks very much like the Normandy coast where I have been on holiday.
